Orangemonkie's products are made to take professional product photos in an intuitive, fast and economical way. This applies to both packshots (single photos) and 360 degree shots. On these pages you can read about the components of the product range and the steps you need to take to create a successful product shot.
The products
The Foldio360 enables you to make 360-degree recordings of products. You connect the Foldio360 to the power outlet, download the free app on your iPhone or Android smartphone and connect wirelessly via Bluetooth. Then you choose the number of shots in a 360 spin (24x, 36x or 48x) and select the intensity of the built-in LED light. After taking the spin, you can edit the photos. For example, you can make the background extra white and crop the photo. Then you can easily upload the photo to Spinzam for free or export it as a .zip file. With the latter option, the photos are universally usable with external software, so you can display Foldio360 photos on your own website (for example, with Magic360). Certain features of the app require one in-app purchase of a few euros.
Smart Dome (available mid-2021)
The Foldio360 Smart Dome is an all-in-one studio that gives you a 360-degree turntable, white environment and LED lighting. You plug the Smart Dome into the power outlet, download the app on your computer (Windows/macOS), iPhone, Android smartphone and connect wirelessly via Bluetooth.
With the Foldio360 and Smart Dome, you take photos with your smartphone or DSLR camera. Selected DSLR cameras, with infrared, are suitable. Here, the app always controls the Foldio360 or Smart Dome and in turn triggers the DSLR camera via infrared. Please email us if you are unsure if your camera works with Orangemonkie's products.
The Foldio360 recording tent comes in several sizes. The Foldio360 tent has three unique features: it can be folded within 10 seconds, it has built-in LED lighting and the background runs into the ground. The latter feature ensures that photos are placed freestanding in their surroundings.
There are several accessories available for Orangemonkie's Foldio collection. The Halo Bar provides extra lighting, the reflection is improved with a Front Cover, you can create an extra large Foldio360 turntable with the extension kit and various parts are available separately.
