StudioKing COB LED Lamp CSL-100W

The CSL-100W from StudioKing is a powerful, economical LED light for use in your studio and on location. The possibilities are endless, thanks to the large amount of light, the handle and the remote control. The color temperature of 5600K provides a natural daylight. In the CSL-100W, StudioKing has built in one powerful COB; a large LED light source. At a distance of 50 centimeters this provides 56,700 lux of light. You can count on natural colors thanks to the CRI value of 96. The CSL-100W has a Bowens/Linkstar mount. There is a wide range of accessories available for this, which you can use to soften the light and provide more control. You will find a selection under the optional accessories on this page.

Operating the CSL-100W

To turn on the CSL-100W there is a button on the back. When you push this up, you can power the CSL-100W with the included power adapter. Optionally, it is possible to push this button down, after which the CSL-100W can be used with two NP-F batteries (not included). However, due to the high power of the lamp, we recommend fixed power supply for the most stable operation. The ninth picture shows a photo of the battery compartment. On the display you can see how full the battery is and at what brightness the light is set. The light of the CSL-100W can be adjusted with the rotary knob. This can be done steplessly, from 0 to 100%. A remote control is also included, which allows you to adjust the brightness by 10%. Furthermore, with the remote control of the CSL-100W it is possible to choose from two theme effects; strobe (fast flickering) and interval (stepless pulsing). Of course, you can also use the remote control to turn the CSL-100W completely on and off. This is useful, for example, when you are working with multiple lamps; this way you can control all lamps at once. The other buttons on the remote control have no function.

Application CSL-100W

If you regularly make corporate videos, videos for YouTube or any other form of content, the CSL-100W will provide plenty of flicker-free light. The CSL-100W is also easy to use on location, thanks to the optional batteries (see accessories page). The CSL-100W can be easily held in the hand thanks to its handle, allowing you to quickly adjust the position of the LED light. It is also possible to place the CSL-100W on almost any lamp stand. When your smartphone or other usb device could use some extra power, you can power it through the CSL-100W. Any male usb-a cable fits on the led lamp, after which 5V 2A is available via usb. Thanks to the plastic housing, the CSL-100W weighs only 940 grams.
