AGM Wolf-14 NL1 Night Vision Monocular Gen2+ Green Phosphor

The AGM WOLF-14 NL1 is a night vision monocular, which features a Generation 2+ image intensifier tube in traditional night vision green. The Wolf-14 is a budget-friendly counterpart to the popular PVS-14 series. The monocular has an optical 1x magnification and a wide 42-degree field of view. As a consequence it's a very suitable substitute for the human eye in situations when you can barely see or see nothing yourself. 

The night viewer has an image intensifier tube (IIT) of the Gen2+ generation. The IIT displays the environment in the familiar green image that you undoubtedly know from television. This is also known as Green Phosphor. The IIT causes the residual or ambient light present to be amplified thousands of times. For this reason, you can work for a long time without an infrared torch, because it can convert even a minimal amount of ambient light into a visual images. After all, IR illumination would immediately betray your position to others with night vision viewers. However, if you are in a dark room without any residual light at all, you can simply turn on the built-in infrared illuminator (IR Illuminator). You can control the power and size of the infrared beam.

With the help of the included head mount set you can use the Wolf-14 hands-free. With the right accessories you can also attach the device to a helmet. The viewer is compact, lightweight, robust and of course waterproof. Using one CR123A battery (included), you can use the device for up to 40 hours.

Application AGM Wolf-14 Green Phosphor (NL1)

The Wolf-14 from the American AGM Global Vision can be classified in terms of quality in the middle segment of night vision monoculars in the commercial market. This makes it a handy, but also affordable tool for the enthusiast or semi-professional. The applications are versatile, for example for use during general nature observations, survival, safari, airsoft, hunting and astronomy.

This night viewer is equipped with an image intensifier tube, so you cannot use the device during the day. The device will automatically shut down when too much light is present.
